SPA AND FITNESS ORIENTATION
These seasonal informative sessions led by exhale senior teachers provide an introduction to a safe and mindful fitness routine. Proper use of all equipment, correct body alignment, effective stretching, and connective breathing are all vital to obtaining the most effective results from your daily regime. Let us guide you to a stronger, healthier you.
RESTORATIVE YOGA DETOX
Restorative yoga detox is a combination of meditation, relaxation, and renewal. Refresh, relieve, and rejuvenate, this session will truly invigorate the body, a monthly necessity for everyone. Holding restorative yoga poses for several minutes combined with meditation techniques lets the muscles fully surrender and rinse. This creates a detox not only for the muscles but also for the organs and internal tissues of the body. A must for stress relief both physical and mental, this restorative yoga detox workshops is appropriate for beginner to advanced practitioners.
NUTRITION: NUTRITIOUS HOME COOKED MEALS DESPITE YOUR BUSY SCHEDULE
Life manages to get busier and busier and take out and restaurant meals are becoming the norm for your weeknight dinner. With a little planning and the help of our nutrition expert, home cooked meals are now an option again. Meals you prepare and eat at home don’t have to be elaborate gourmet meals, and they don’t have to take a lot of time. In this workshop you will learn some basic meal planning techniques, grocery shopping tips, and most importantly some popular quick and healthy recipes. Make healthy eating a priority and you will find yourself more alert, energetic and productive. Let’s put those oversized, high calorie, high fat restaurant dinners to the side, and let this workshop give you the tips you need to begin cooking quick, nutritious meals at home more often.
ACUPUNCTURE FOR THE FALL
As the days get colder and shorter, it is a wonderful time to reflect on our health and well-being. Living in harmony with the natural cycles of our environment is an essential principle of Chinese Medicine. Winter is the time of year to replenish our energy and prepare for new life in the spring. Learning to slow down and live well in these trying months will be explored in the “Winter Wellness” workshop. It will include discussion about seasons and illness from a Chinese medical point of view. We will delve into methods to increase immunity and guard against colds using acupressure, foods, and home remedies such as teas and compresses. Each participant will leave with a booklet of useful recipes, teas, and herbal suggestions, as well as a sense of inner peace and calm, ready to face the winter with a deeper appreciation of its gifts.

Sign up with a friend, and together you will get an enjoyable introduction to Body Enlightening principles and techniques that will leave you both feeling balanced, rejuvenated…and enlightened! Or Sign up by yourself and make a new friend! With joy, humor and compassion, Ross Knights creates a welcoming and fun atmosphere for you. Note that Body Enlightening is done in comfortable clothing, without the use of oils. In this workshop, you will experience • simple Thai bodywork techniques that anyone can do • great ways to help someone stretch, relax and get energized • the healing energy of assisted yoga poses and acupressure • pure relaxation receiving “lazy person’s yoga” while your partner works on you! No prior bodywork training is required. Yoga experience is helpful but not required.
