Emily GreensteinEMILY GREENSTEIN, L.Ac., M.A.O.M.
Emily Greenstein is a graduate of the New England School of Acupuncture where she studied Chinese and Japanese acupuncture as well as herbal medicine.  She has a particular interest in fertility work and has experience treating polycystic ovary syndrome, endometriosis, ovarian cysts and ‘unexplained infertility. Emily has worked with women who choose to use assisted reproductive therapy in conjunction with acupuncture and herbs as well as those who want to use a more natural route.  By looking at diet, lifestyle, hormonal imbalances and health history, Emily uses a holistic approach in working with men and women achieve their goals of having a family.

Caitlin IsbisterCAITLIN ISBISTER, L.Ac.
Caitlin Isbister first became interested in Traditional Chinese Medicine after she received her B.Sc. in Medicinal Chemistry from the University at Buffalo.  After researching various forms of alternative medicine, she found that acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine resonate with her the most. Caitlin finds the strength of Chinese medicine to be its ability to treat the unique constitution of each individual, with a subtlety that allows it to appropriately complement biomedicine.  Her areas of specialty include women’s health issues & fertility, pain disorders, autoimmune disorders, sleep disorders, and stress relief.  Caitlin received her Master of Science degree from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in Chicago. She is nationally certified and licensed by the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Medicine. In addition to practicing Chinese medicine, Caitlin is a third degree black belt in Taekwondo and enjoys the art of Qi Gong.

Cynthia FitzgeraldCYNTHIA ESTREMERA FITZGERALD, L.Ac., Dipl. O.M.
Cynthia is a California and Illinois state Licensed Acupuncturist and a Nationally certified Diplomat of Chinese Medicine and Herbology. She completed her undergraduate work in Biology and Music at the University of California, Irvine. She received her postgraduate degree in Chinese Medicine, with honors, from Southern California University of Health Sciences.  Her previous work as a massage therapist has helped her develop a more comprehensive and relaxing treatment. She specializes in stress management and alternatives to hormone therapy for women and has successfully treated patients for smoking cessation, insomnia, PMS, and many other women’s issues. She is a specialist in the Berkley Method of Reproductive Wellness – a complementary medical approach to the treatment of infertility. Cynthia is passionate about being by her patients’ side through their fertility journey. As a practitioner of Traditional Chinese medicine, Cynthia is dedicated to healing her patients’ whole body, mind, and spirit. She recognizes each patient as a unique individual and works with each one to find his or her personal path to wellness.

Nicole SheldonNICOLE SHELDON, L.Ac., M.S.T.O.M.
Nicole Sheldon is a graduate of Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in New York where she earned a Masters of Science in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine.  She has spent her life studying medicine from her days growing up in Thailand working in an array of clinics and hospitals, continuing on to her BA in Medical Anthropology with a Community Health concentration from Tufts University, and through to her 4 years at the renowned Pacific College of Oriental Medicine. She has an excellent balance between a strong biomedical understanding and the practice of Chinese medicine which addresses both the body and mind.  Nicole continued her studies after completing her masters degree and apprenticed with Dr. Wang Ju Yi in Beijing, China obtaining a certification from his Clinical Channel Theory Research program.  In addition she completed her NADA (National Acupuncture Detoxification Association) training at Lincoln Hospital with Dr. Michael Smith.  Recently, Nicole studied fertility medicine under the tutelage of Mike Berkeley of the Berkeley Institute of Reproductive Wellness in New York.  Prior to moving to Chicago, she worked in private practice for many years in New York, successfully treating patients who came to her with obgyn and fertility complications, sports injuries, migraines, digestive issues, cancer management, and pain.  One of Nicole's passions under the umbrella of Chinese medicine is to incorporate her love and knowledge of cooking and nutrition into her treatments by using Chinese medicinal cooking techniques as part of her treatment plans.  She has taught individual and group cooking classes which cater to specific conditions such as "Cooking for Fertility" and "Soups for Digestion".  Nicole has been featured on Chicago's CAN TV network demonstrating TCM medicinal cooking techniques and maintains a weekly blog on medicinal foods.  She is dedicated to helping her patients onto a path of healing using a whole and grounded approach to achieving optimal health.

Jan HillJAN HILL, L.Ac.
Jan Hill is a licensed acupuncturist and herbologist as well as a licensed massage therapist in the state of Texas. She is nationally board certified by the National Certification for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) in Acupuncture, Oriental Medicine, Herbology, and Biomedicine. She first earned her education for massage therapy at Sterling’s Health Center and Massage School in Texas, and then went on to get her Master’s of Science in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine in Dallas, Texas at Dallas College of Oriental Medicine, (DCOM). Post-graduation, Jan had an interest in male/female infertility and she continued her education in this field by studying under Dr. Mike Berkley of the Berkley Center of Reproductive Wellness, Dr. Ray Rubio the President of the American Board of Oriental Reproductive Medicine, and also by Dr. Belinda Anderson the Academic Dean of Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in New York. Jan is a fertility specialist trained in the Berkley Method of Reproduction, and is under the constant mentoring of Dr. Mike Berkley, the first licensed acupuncturist in the United States to specialize and open a clinic geared only to treat male/female infertility.

Ryan ReadJESSICA "RYAN" READ, L.Ac.
Ryan Read is an Illinois State licensed and Nationally board certified Master acupuncturist as well as a licensed massage therapist. She combines these skills to effectively treat both chronic and acute conditions. Ryan specializes in the treatment of sports injuries and pain management. Her use of massage in combination with acupuncture allows her to effectively treat conditions involving pain and stress. Ryan, an accomplished rider/competitor, also uses her healing skills treating nationally competitive, non- professional equestrians and is working to expand her scope of practice to include work with animals.

NEW YORK

Sean RachlinSEAN RACHLIN, L.Ac.
Sean Rachlin is a New York state licensed acupuncturist, nationally board certified by the National Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) and holds a Masters of Science degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. He has a background in psychology as well as graduate and post-graduate training in acupuncture, acupressure, massage, and Chinese herbal applications for internal and external use. Sean helps each individual to achieve harmony in their body so that they may find relief from stress, anxiety, depression, insomnia, musculoskeletal pain, dysfunction and injury. He also utilizes his experience with chi gong (energy conducting exercises) as another tool in teaching his clients to increase range of motion as well as to optimize, balance and sustain their energy in their daily lives. Sean always attempts to understand, encourage, educate and guide his clients during their healing process so that they may feel more balanced in body, mind and spirit, prevent injury and live a better quality of life.

 

RONALD VENK, L.Ac., M.S.T.O.M.
Ronald Venk graduated from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in New York with a Masters of Science in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine.  He is also a licensed massage therapist.  He is devoted to helping his patients achieve the wellness and balance that they seek.  He has extensive experience working with women's health issues, and he believes strongly in the integration of Western Medicine and the modalities of Chinese Medicine to maximize health and fertility.

Lori DeutschLORI DEUTSCH, MA, L.Ac., Dipl. OM
Lori Deutsch is a licensed acupuncturist in the state of California, and nationally board certified in Oriental Medicine, Acupuncture, Herbology and Biomedicine. She earned her Master's degree in Traditional Oriental Medicine from Emperor's College in Santa Monica, CA, graduating Summa Cum Laude. She also has a Master's degree in Nutrition from Columbia University in New York City. Lori's vast knowledge and experience in holistic health, honed over the past 25 years, enables her to treat people on many levels: body, mind and spirit. A long time practitioner of yoga and meditation, her approach is gentle and thorough, with a deep level of compassion that helps people feel safe and relaxed. Patients call her needling technique pain-free. Lori's clinical experience includes women's health issues, all types of pain, depression, anxiety, stress, weight control, fatigue, and gastrointestinal dysfunction. She also employs balancing techniques for people who just want to feel better in their bodies or prevent illness, and works with nutrition and herbs to harmonize each person's biochemistry. Her post-graduate studies include Kiiko Matsumoto's Japanese acupuncture, and Mary Elizabeth Wakefield's facial rejuvenation. Lori is dedicated to helping patients heal existing conditions and achieve optimum health and wellness.
