jenifer newman
Born in Los Angeles, Jenifer began studying classical ballet at the age of 10. She received early Russian training from Irina Kosmovska, David Lichine, Tatiana Riaboushinska (Ballet Russe), and Yvonne Mounsey (NYCB). At the age of 12, Jenifer received a Ford Foundation Scholarship to the School of American Ballet - the affiliate to the New York City Ballet - and eventually danced with the company under the direction of George Balanchine. After accomplishing a 12-year professional ballet career - including Ballet South, and the Boston Repertory Ballet - she began working in the Entertainment Industry. She spent 10 years working in TV production at 20th Century Fox studios, and continued working in the dance world as an assistant choreographer on various TV shows. Dancing credits include Fame, Pennies from Heaven, Ziegfeld: The Man and His Women and Grease 2. In 2003, Jenifer decided to seriously involve herself with the fitness world again. In 2005, she found her way to Core Fusion, and is thrilled to be part of the Core Fusion team!
