“If it doesn’t challenge you, it doesn’t change you.” It’s the quote coined by Fred that definitely sums up his barre teacher training theory! As half of the Core Fusion co-founding team, he travels the country training teachers to use their passion to change lives. Fred has been featured in numerous national health and fitness publications, and has made television appearances on dozens of national programs. He holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Physical Education and Health, as well as an ACE Personal Trainer Certification. Fred brings the knowledge he’s acquired from over 30+ years of teaching experience to each and every training he leads.

Otherwise known as the “thigh master,” you’ll smile thorough the burn as Elisabeth shows you how to teach a challenging and engaging barre class. As co-founder of Core Fusion, Elisabeth co-directs exhale’s class programming, teacher trainings and retreats. With a background in dance, she has always emphasized position and alignment in her 30+ years of teaching experience. She regularly appears as a fitness expert on national TV including The Today Show, ABC News, CBS This Morning, Entertainment Tonight and Dr. Oz. She has a degree in Dance Education from the Hartford Ballet, and also has a 200-hour Yoga Alliance certification.

A Master Teacher Trainer, Tyler trains Core Fusion teachers for exhale on a national level. As a fitness innovator, he was invited by Fred and Elisabeth to design exhale’s Core Fusion Sport class, a cross training hour of sweaty cardio and intense body strengthening. When it comes to teacher training, he pursues technique and pristine alignment, with an emphasis on breathing as an inherent part of moving well and generating the highest level of physical functionality. Tyler is a lead ballet dancer, emergency medical technician and also holds a NASM certification in Training and Kinesiology.

She raises the barre with her wealth of knowledge and teaching experience! As a Master Teacher Trainer for exhale, Barbara is dedicated to giving teachers across the country the tools they need to produce powerful results for their students through safe and proper form. A long-time fitness teacher, (she taught with Fred and Lis at Lotte Berk), you’ll feel comfortable and confident in her trainings as she guides you through the exhale barre technique. When she’s not leading a 40-hour barre teacher training, you can find her at any exhale location in New York teaching a full schedule of sold-out classes. She has a Bachelors of Science in Human Kinetics and Leisure Studies.

Denise believes that knowledge is power, and she loves bestowing that power on all of her barre teacher training students! A long-time teacher, (trained by Fred and Lis from the Lotte Berk days), Denise has grown and changed with the evolution of barre. Her attention to detail and knowledge of correct positions and form will help you achieve maximum results as a teacher, working your students from the inside out! In addition to teacher training, Denise is the Mind Body Manager for exhale’s flagship location in Boston Back Bay — teaching a full schedule of classes and training teachers for both exhale Boston locations.

Jenifer brings depth to our barre training, emphasizing the need for a strong understanding of the movements you are teaching to provide a safe and effective class for all ages. The combination of her light and fun attitude with the discipline of her background as a professional ballet dancer makes for a training that is positive and well-managed. With over a decade of experience teaching Core Fusion Barre, she is honored to be a National Core Fusion Teacher Trainer and Subject Matter Expert for exhale. She hopes sharing her background and experience with her students will spark a passion within them to work hard, stay healthy, and live a fulfilling life!
