HEALTHY THOUGHTS FOR A HEALTHY SPRING AWAKENING
By: Catherine Hesse, Senior Core Fusion Teacher and Hollistic Health Counselor “April is HERE!”……ah such sweet words. Finally the chill in the air has a warmth to it, the sun feels different, and with the smell of new life, we can’t help but stand taller and breath deeper.  As Mother Nature is waking up from her winter getaway, we can’t help but be drawn to do the same, and even though April is never as warm as we think it will be, it still draws us to shed unwanted, unneeded layers and inspire our personal spring awakening to renew our best self from the inside out. HEALTHY THOUGHTS FOR CLEANSING THROUGH WHOLE FOODS
By: Catherine HesseSenior Core Fusion Teacher and Wellness Coach We are exposed to toxins every day in the water we drink, the foods, we eat, and the air we breath. These toxins build up over time and if not released, can cause or contribute to many symptoms and ailments physically, mentally, and emotionally. I always say, the cleaner you eat, the cleaner you function and the better you feel. Cleansing is a way to remove toxins from the body’s organs, cells, and blood, create clarity in your mind, and stabilize emotions. It is often associated with juicing but doesn’t have to be. Cleansing through whole foods allows you to clean

A SUCCESSFUL WORKING MOM ASKS EXHALE TO HELP HER LOSE WEIGHT AND REGAIN EMOTIONAL EQUILIBRIUM
By Lyss Stern, exhale member, Author and Founder of Divamoms.com I did a double take. It was March 2016, and I was watching an interview I had just done on a news show. I’m an author, mother of three and the creator of Divamoms.com, a New York City-based media and events company for moms, and I talk to the media often. But this time I had to look twice, because I really didn’t recognize myself. My dad had passed away two years before, and since then, I had been self-comforting with food. To me, mourning meant eating. The excuse I gave myself was that I was too busy as a

HEALTHY THOUGHTS … FOR A HEALTHY SUMMER!
Welcome to June! What a spectacular time of the year as the temperature is getting warmer, the winter coat is in the closet and the parks are bursting with energy. And yes, the morning…it is light in the morning now! My favorite thing is to be up bright and early, when all is still quiet and the possibilities of the day are full of wonder. This is where I like to take a deep breath, appreciate where I’ve been, welcome where I am going, and exhale! With spring and summer come new changes in our surroundings: new life, new sounds, new smells, new commitments to health and life around us.

PERSONAL POWER IS OUR OWN SPECIAL LIGHT OR RADIANCE
By Brianna NortonIn core fusion we work to access our own unique personal power by working hard within ourselves without competing or comparing but with mental and physical strength and determination accessed by focus, concentration and the use of breath as an important tool. the breath is what connects mind and body and each of us. I encourage students/guests to set an intention and to focus on their own personal power. What you intend can manifest through practice when you set your mind to it. By accessing personal power you will be strong, confident, accomplished and successful. Also calm, clear and balanced both mentally and physically. Brianna NortonMind Body ManagerExhale

WELCOME TO THE SCIENCE OF HAPPINESS — SELF-COACHED POSITIVE PSYCHOLOGY
by Kayleigh Pleas, Core Fusion teacher The number of self-help books topping the New York Times Best Seller List every week is a testament to society’s desperation for wellbeing. Flourishing is the term psychologists use to describe individuals who function at extraordinarily high levels psychologically and socially. These individuals experience a strong sense of meaning and purpose in their lives, are deeply engaged with their families, work, and communities, and are remarkably resilient to life’s inevitable hardships. Sadly, only 1 in 5 Americans are flourishing. Most of us are skimming the surface of our lives, stuck in rigid routines, yearning for something more. As a positive psychology coach, I employ strategies from the scientific

IT NEVER GETS EASIER, YOU JUST GET BETTER.
By Core Fusion Co-Founder, Fred DeVito When my wife, Lis, and I developed Core Fusion, our goal was to create transformational classes that combined the mindfulness of a yoga practice with strength, toning, and flexibility for a full body workout. To guide our vision, we adopted mantras for the Core Fusion program that serve as a baseline in each class. As you start your fitness journey in 2015, take a moment and reflect upon how these mantras can carry you through any class – challenging yourself to create the change you want to see in your body, your mind, and your rear…I mean, your YEAR! Core Fusion Class Mantras: We believe that you should

A HEART FOR EXERCISE
By Elisabeth Halfpapp, executive vice president of mind body programming, exhale February isn’t just about candy hearts and romance. It’s American Heart Month, a topic very near and dear to my heart. Christa Halfpapp, my loving mother and best friend, opened my eyes to heart disease in women, and sparked a heartfelt passion for dedicating time and joyful energy to the American Heart Association. She was and continues to be an inspiration to me every day. With her heart she opened mine to volunteering for AHA’s Go Red for Women, a movement that I was honored by last year as a Luminary of the Heart. Go Red for Women, created by women, for women,
